If I could capture rainbows,
Squeeze color for my art,
Then I
could paint around the world,
The love within my heart.
If I could
grasp the comet,
Turn it into my pen,
Then I could write across the
skies,
My happiness within.
If I could muster armies,
I'd march
around the land
And force the legion common folk
To bow beneath your
hand.
But I am just a simple man,
With no proficiency,
Possessing
a most wondrous gift
That still amazes me.
I have your eyes, your
laugh, your touch,
Your warmly tender charms,
And when the night
wraps us around.
I have you in my arms.
Your love makes me feel so
inspired,
I could do anything.
Sometimes in dreams I reach for stars
And with my arms take wing.
I try to reach infinity,
I want that
power to be.
So I could give you everything.
